A Lot to Celebrate

It's a busy time of year for our community and there are a lot of things to celebrate.

June is Pride Month, and an opportunity for the University to celebrate and reflect on the history, courage, and diversity of 2SLGBTQ+ communities. We raised the Progress Pride flag a few weeks ago to mark the beginning of Pride Month and then partied at our annual Pride Pub

The University of Toronto joins members of the Indigenous community in June to mark National Indigenous History Month and National Indigenous Peoples Day. National Indigenous Peoples Day recognizes the rich and diverse cultures, languages, stories, and experiences of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people across Turtle Island. Hear from some of our University of Toronto Scarborough students about how they work to create a culture of support for Indigenous students.

We're also in the midst of our Spring Convocation. We're celebrating the achievement of more than 15,500 graduates in 32 individual ceremonies from June 2-24. Follow along as our students receive their degrees and get ready to change the world.
