Webcasts for Prospective Students U of T Talks: Being a Composer in the 21st Century On May 18th, Prof. Eliot Britton, a composer and researcher at the Faculty of Music, will talk about how composers exist at the intersection of imagination, tradition, and limitless technical innovation. He will introduce some of his recent creative projects, and show how they blur musical tradition and technology in forward-thinking, sustainable ways. Students can register for this virtual talk today. |
| | Waitlists This spring we introduced a new waitlist for undergraduate applicants in select program areas. Since we're unable to admit all students with good academic records, our waitlist provides an opportunity for eligible undergraduate applicants to be reconsidered for admission. Applicants on the waitlist are assessed for admission for any available spaces in the program that they originally applied to, as well as related program areas. Applicants are invited to the waitlist based on their academic record and anticipated program space. How waitlisting works at U of T. Admission Condition Request Form While we expect that admitted students will be able to meet their offer conditions, if there are extenuating circumstances impacting their ability to do so, students can complete the Admission Condition Request Form to request an extension and provide an explanation. The form is available through the Join U of T portal as of May 1st to applicants who have accepted their offer of admission and must be submitted no later than seven business days prior to the offer condition deadline date. Although we cannot guarantee approval, condition requests will be reviewed on their individual merits with each applicant's circumstances, overall academic record and program space availability being taken into consideration. |
