May is an exciting time for students, as many of you will be making your final university decisions for the fall. Here are some important resources to help you navigate the home stretch.

Generally, the deadline to accept an offer of admission is June 1 for UBC Okanagan and May 1 for UBC Vancouver, but the deadline has been extended for some students admitted to UBC Vancouver. Students can find the deadline to accept their offer, accept their offer, and pay their acceptance deposit in the Student Service Centre.

UBC Okanagan:  

Between June and August, residence offers are sent by email. Students have a limited time to accept their offer and pay the first instalment of their residence and meal plan fees.

August 1: Deadline to apply for early arrival.

International students who are attending high school in Canada (and who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada) must obtain a post-secondary study permit to study at UBC. That will involve changing the conditions on their current permit. If your students will be coming to UBC from outside Canada, more guidance can be found on the coming from abroad page.

Physical Therapy is a rewarding profession offering a diverse range of practice areas with excellent employment opportunities and job security. 

The UBC Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) program is the only entry-to-practice program in BC and is taught across three sites in Vancouver, Prince George, and Surrey. 

Students interested in the 26-month MPT program should first set their sights on earning a bachelor's degree in any field. While completing that degree, they should keep in mind additional admission requirements for the MPT program, including volunteer experience and specific prerequisite courses in anatomy, physiology, physics, English, statistics, and psychology.
