JOB OVERVIEW Reporting to the Parks Supervisor, the Student Labourer performs a variety of operational and maintenance tasks to support the District’s parks and green spaces.
The Parks system includes playgrounds, trails, sports fields, gardens, and public green spaces. The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary program; have experience working with tools; have experience working as a member of a team; and possess a valid Driver’s licence – a Driver’s Abstract will be required, and novice “N” licence would be acceptable.

The hourly pay rate for this up to 4-month temporary (8 hours per day), Monday to Friday position is $26.78 (2024 rates).
