As a Guest Services Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for guests at the marina, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting with guest inquiries, providing information about marina services, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and safety of the marina facilities.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take reservations, answer phones, respond to email
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with information about marina services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries in a professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of marina facilities, including restrooms, common areas, and docks.
- Assist with the rental of equipment such as E Bikes, kayaks, and paddleboards.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions and daily cash out
JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check guests in and out daily
- Answer phones, emails, and in person inquiries
- File paperwork, cash out and balancing
- Collect coins from laundry and showers
- Use VHF radio to communicate with vessels
- Communicate with Dock master and Moorage Manager for updates on changes needed for slip assignments
- New Daily tasks over and above mentioned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- On call
- Weekends as needed
