UBC Engineering Open HouseLearn more about studying at one of Canada's top engineering schools! We are offering both an online and on-campus event at both the Okanagan and Vancouver campuses so that students have a variety of ways to connect with us.

Online Open House: October 17-18, 2024Thursday, October 17, 8:00-9:30 am PT and 6:00-7:30 pm PT Friday, October 18, 4:00-6:30 pm PT The online UBC Engineering Open House will provide research spotlights and presentations about admissions, Co-op and the student experience. Students will get the best experience by attending all three sessions, though it is not required. Recordings will also be available to registrants after the event concludes. All of our engineering programs from both campuses will have virtual booths that are available for drop-in Q&A on October 18. You can find the full schedule on our website. |
On-campus Open House: November 2Vancouver: November 2, 2024 Okanagan: November 2, 2024 10:00 am-2:00 pm The On-campus UBC Engineering Open House will provide an opportunity for students to visit either the Vancouver or Okanagan campus to interact with our Professors, advisors and student teams while also exploring our amazing campuses. |

From much-loved Engineering Design Challenge Competitions to new 2-part learning series, here’s what is in store this year at UBC Vancouver: - Circular Engineering: Electronic Repairs (Grades 6-12) with UBC E-Kitchen | October 5th and October 26th as a 2-part series
- Electronic Arts Jam: Game Design (Grades 7-10) with Electronic Arts | October 19th

Events just for girlsWomen in Engineering Student PanelOctober 17, 7:00 pm PT The Women in Engineering Student Panel at the Online UBC Engineering Open House invites girls and gender non-conforming students in Grades 10-12 to hear from a panel of women students about their educational and professional experiences in engineering. High school students will get to have their questions answered in a supportive and engaging environment. Students should register for the Online UBC Engineering Open House to attend. |
