As the academic year draws to a close, we are eager to connect again and share some recent updates with you. Most offers for Fall 2024 have now been released. Applicants can keep an eye on their Join U of T applicant website or Engineering Applicant Portal, while students who have accepted offers should continue to regularly check their University of Toronto email accounts for important transition details.

Wishing you a rejuvenating summer.

National Scholarship Update

The National Scholarship continues to be the University's most prestigious award for Canadian high school students entering the university. For 2024-25, the National Scholarship program will see some changes:

  • The nominations process will begin earlier. We will now be accepting nominations from schools from September 3 to October 10.
  • We anticipate that finalists will be interviewed in late January, with decisions made a few weeks after that.
  • Parts of the interview process will be modernized to better reflect our applicants.

These changes are in response to the changing student landscape and will better align with admission cycles.
