University Closed for the Winter Break

Starting at 5:00 PM EST on Wednesday, December 20, U of T will be closed for our annual winter break. Normal university operations will resume on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. During this period, we will not be assessing applications, reviewing files, or responding to inquiries. In addition, starting at 5:00 PM EST on December 20 and continuing through until 12:00 PM EST on January 3, several parts of the JOIN U of T applicant website will not be available. Students can still apply during this period and will receive an acknowledgement email when the university reopens.

Application Deadlines

The deadline for most undergraduate program areas is January 15. If you have students who plan to apply but have not yet submitted their application, please encourage them not to wait until the last minute. Program spaces fill quickly each year and it is always advantageous to apply as early as feasible. Even though the University will be closed for the winter break, students can still submit their application. We will process the application as soon as we return and send an acknowledgement with next steps to the student.
