We hope that you have had a great academic year! We have enjoyed connecting with you, and are looking forward to another exciting year ahead. 

This year, UBC will continue hosting most events, presentations, and information sessions online.

UBC will also be attending in-person events across BC as part of  PSBC (at events hosted outside of the Lower Mainland).

This approach will provide BC students and their families with a great variety of times, formats, and opportunities to connect with UBC, get crucial information earlier in the year, have more time to ask their questions, and get in-depth support on complex topics (e.g., applying to UBC). We will continue to connect with more students, more often, and when it’s most convenient to them.

UBC's recruitment activities will continue to be focused on prioritizing the goals of UBC's Inclusion Action Plan.

This plan puts UBC's values into action, by supporting underserved communities. This year, we will be adding more opportunities for students who face the greatest barriers to post-secondary education to connect with UBC. Some of these opportunities will include schools and organizations supporting rural students in BC, students who identify as Indigenous, Black and/or People of Colour.

We have included a handy PDF resource, that outlines specific event date information.

If you are an Indigenous student in grade 9-12, our Indigenous recruiter-advisors would love to connect with you about student events that will include information about the Indigenous-specific programs and services available on both of our campuses.
