Why Summer Science?

Past and present attendees are part of much more than a summer camp, they gain valuable post-secondary connections and life long friendships. The Summer Science Program is a community and a home away from home. It is a place for students to feel safe, valued, and passionate about their future. Programs goals include:
  • Inform students of health and science careers.
  • Provide information on post-secondary prerequisites, course planning, and admissions.
  • Meet Indigenous role models in health care and sciences.
  • Incorporate cultural knowledge into daily activities.
