Registration Deposit Deferral for Indigenous Students
If a student self-identifies as an Indigenous person of Canada in their UBC application, their registration deposit will be automatically deferred. This is part of UBC’s effort to support students who are being funded by third parties, including their band or Nation. This blog post covers everything you need to know about deferrals for all students.

Future Global Leaders Program

High school students can try out a university subject before applying to university in our summer Future Global Leaders program.

Students can enjoy the full university experience by attending Future Global Leaders at the UBC Vancouver campus (where students can choose between staying in a student residence or commuting daily to campus), or study at home with online courses.

The program awards bursaries to Grade 11 high school students (or those who have just completed Grade 10) in BC, who have financial need. Each bursary covers full tuition for one on-campus or online course of your choice.

Registration deadlines:
On-Campus Residence Option June 2
On-Campus Commuter Option June 16
