Upcoming Events
  • 14 - 19 November: Taste of Land and Food Systems Open House Do you know students who love science, and want to feed the future, or are passionate about sustainable agriculture, or committed to animal welfare? Encourage them to attend this event, everyone is welcome! • 18 November: Virtual Indigenous Grade 12 Day (Vancouver campus) If you or someone you know regularly works with Indigenous students (First Nations, Métis, and/or Inuit), our Indigenous recruitment team is hosting a Virtual Indigenous Grade 12 Day for all Indigenous students currently in grade 12! The afternoon of online sessions will include an application workshop and other events designed to introduce students to UBC’s Vancouver campus and its Indigenous community.

Admissions: Indigenous Self-ID
When applying to UBC, students can self-identify as First Nations, Métis, and/or Inuit. It’s voluntary, but if students choose to self-identify, UBC can provide them with useful information on Indigenous programs, scholarships, housing, and services, and if and if they're admitted, they will be invited to attend Destination UBC in the spring and Indigenous Orientation in the fall.
