Every Tuesday and Thursday (starting at 2pm) throughout the month of February students can take advantage of our question and answer sessions hosted live via WebEx. Ask questions about our undergraduate degree programs, learn more about the student experience and student services or ask what the next steps are after they've submitted their application.

Each year, Memorial University offers various entrance scholarships to qualifying students. Along with the new Transforming Our Horizons Entrance Scholarship program there are a number of other scholarships available to incoming students.

Living on campus offers convenience, camaraderie and security in a supportive community that will help you get the most out of your university experience—both academically  and socially. Plus, in light of COVID-19, we've prepared a robost response plan to keep our students even safer. Apply to student residence on the St. John's Campus today!

Grenfell Campus

Living on campus is an important part of university life. At Grenfell, half our students live on campus and enjoy the comfort, convenience and safety of being part of the residence community . We know privacy is important which is why every student in residence has their own bedroom and share a bathroom with only one other person. And there are options for dining: Purchase an optional meal plan or cook in our shared kitchen facilities. The deadline to apply for housing at Grenfell Campus is March 1, 2022.

Adapting to the remote learning environment

Computer Science professor, Dr. David Churchill, live streamed his Introduction to Game Programming course through his Twitch channel and then posted the lectures on YouTube. In the course students learn to program a fully functional video game. Read more on the  Gazette.
