Important! PSBC Virtual Fairs Kickoff
The PSBC virtual fairs kick off on October 7th at 9 am and we are excited to see your students there! Fairs run on all of these dates: October 7 & 19, Nov 3, 9 & 18, and Dec 1 & 7 from 9 am – 7 pm each day. Find your post-secondary future at this virtual fair! We will be offering live presentations that students can join right from the fair platform 6 times throughout each fair day. We hope that you will be able to provide students with time and encouragement to attend at least one of those dates. Registration is from the Post-Secondary BC website here.
Student Mailing List
Whether attending a virtual fair or not, your students can now sign up to receive information and updates from Camosun Recruitment & Admissions. They can also complete a short ‘scavenger hunt’ for information and thus enter to win a draw for fun Camosun swag. The scavenger hunt should take about 10 minutes or less and could be used as a way to start researching the kind of information that students need when applying to post-secondary, such as admission requirements, application deadlines, high school student conditional admission, etc.
REMINDERS
Provisional admission
Provisional admission applies to students enrolled in grade 12 in a BC secondary school, and working toward meeting graduation requirements. Students can qualify for this special admission category from September 15th to May 15th. This conditional admission is tied to the student meeting the necessary program admission requirements with their final grades. A few programs may have separate deadlines and processes – check with an Admissions Advisor. The student will need to include their Personal Education Number.
