The Victoria Film Festival has a few volunteer opportunities coming up, as listed on their recent UsedVictoria ad:
The Victoria Film Festival is going online for 2021. With hi-tech
ticket sales and films streamed into homes around the province, we need
troubleshooters to help us help our audiences enjoy the festival. We
know we will get calls and queries, so we are looking for people to work
from home for a few hours a day during the festival (February 5-14,
2021), and for a few days in January when we will be testing systems.
You'll help our less tech adept audiences navigate online ticket sales
and how to stream their movies to their TV, through their computer or
whatever platform they might be using. If you can help, get in touch -
training and orientation early in January.
We are still also looking for people who like to get outside. We'll
be distributing brochures around the region in January and we need some
warm bodies to take a route and get the word out. If this fits your
