ALERT First Aid with CPR "C" & AED training is being offered Monday April 8, 2019 - 8:30 am – 4:00 pm @ SHOAL Centre 10030 Resthaven Drive.

This fun & interactive 8-hour course trains people how to react & improvise during time priority, life threatening emergencies. This course covers initial assessment, disease prevention, secondary survey, airway obstruction, adult/child/infant CPR, & the use of an Automated External Defibrillator. This course also includes recognition & first-aid treatment for head & spine injuries, shock, bleeds, anaphylactic shock, heart attacks & strokes. Participants spend the majority of the course doing hands on first-aid training. By practicing with scenarios students gain confidence & learn to react & improvise in emergency situations. This course meets Adult & Child Licensing Guidelines.
