Full job description
What we do and are proud of
At Brentwood Bay Resort, we’re all about creating meaningful moments—those little details and thoughtful touches that make a guest’s stay unforgettable. Yes, we’re lucky to work in a stunning oceanfront setting, with award-winning dining and a beautiful spa just steps away. But what really sets us apart is the way we make people feel—genuinely welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease.
We take pride in doing things differently. Our team is made up of kind, passionate people who bring their full selves to work. Here, you’re encouraged to speak up, try new ideas, and support each other every step of the way. We’re serious about great service, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously—there’s plenty of laughter, creativity, and shared wins along the way. If you’re someone who enjoys working with purpose, connecting with others, and being part of something you’re proud of, this might be just the place for you.
Why this role is significant
As a Parking Attendant, you’re often the first person a guest encounters—and that first impression matters. Whether you're directing cars, helping with bags, or offering a warm welcome, you set the tone for an easy, memorable experience. You’ll help keep things flowing at the front of the resort, manage parking access, and offer hands-on support with the kind of thoughtfulness that makes people feel genuinely looked after.
We’re currently hiring for two seasonal positions, running from now through September 1: one Monday to Friday and one Saturday and Sunday, both from 10:00am to 6:00pm. If you enjoy working outdoors, appreciate consistent hours, and take pride in being part of a supportive team, this role could be a great fit.
A day in the life

- Open or close parking areas to avoid congestion and keep traffic flowing

- Assist guests with luggage, mobility support, and valet parking when offered
- Maintain a tidy work area and submit a daily parking log at the end of each shift
What we hope you'll bring to the team
- A friendly, welcoming personality and the confidence to take initiative
- Strong communication skills and a calm, professional approach—even in busy moments
- The ability to work independently, stay organized, and make good judgment calls
- Physical stamina to be on your feet throughout your shift and lift up to 50 lbs when needed
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license, clean driving record, and at least 3 years of driving experience
- Comfortable handling both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- A reliable, punctual nature with a strong sense of personal accountability
- A team-first mindset and a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
What's in it for you
- A starting wage of $20 per hour plus gratuities
- Extended health and dental benefits after three months of employment
- An award-winning workplace, recently recognized as Outstanding Workplace of the Year
- Opportunities for personal and professional growth
- Employee perks, including 50% off at the Pub, Arbutus Room, and Spa treatments, free hotel stays, and discounts for friends and family
