Job Title: Facilities part-time/weekends

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated team player to join us. Reporting to the Facility Manager, the ideal candidate will focus on a variety of responsibilities that enhance our clients' and customers' experience and support the success of our organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Set up and tear down tables, chairs, audio visual equipment etc. for the various events and meetings that are held at our facility.

· Cleaning of the building including interior windows, walls, flooring, and exterior.

· Cleaning of the theatre, banquet hall, meeting rooms, washrooms, kitchen, and common areas before, during and after events.

· Monitor and replenish consumables such as: bathroom supplies, coffee, tea, cleaning supplies.

· Perform routine building maintenance such as replacing lightbulbs, patching walls and trim, painting.

· Identify and report any mechanical, electrical or plumbing issues and repair where able.

· Complete scheduled inspections on equipment.

· Liaise with and maintain a professional and courteous demeanour while working with clients and members of the public.

· Work effectively in a team and take part in team building activities.

· Follow all work safe and company procedures and policies as outlined in our employee handbook and SOP manual.

· Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and multi-tasking are key.

· Be available to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

· Be able to work independently to get necessary jobs done.

· Be respectful to ALL. We are an inclusive workspace where bullying is not tolerated.

· Assist in training new team members.

Skills & Qualifications

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Respectful, team player

· Strong organizational skills

· Thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work independently with a can-do attitude

· Able to lift 50 pounds

· Experience with audio visual equipment as asset, but not necessary

Compensation & Benefits

· $21.00 per hour

· Extended Health Benefits (minimum of 20 hours per week required)
