As a Line Cook, you are responsible for preparing high-quality and consistent menu items that leave our guests satisfied and eager to return. You thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring that the integrity and quality of our dishes are maintained. You are an integral part of a supportive, welcoming, and collaborative team that believes in continuous learning and sharing knowledge to improve our craft. A day in the life
- Preparing high-quality, consistent, and visually appealing food items.
- Completing all opening and closing duties as well as side tasks as assigned.
- Ensuring that all guidelines and recipes are followed accurately.
- Stocking and preparing items for daily operation to ensure a smooth service.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace and equipment.
- Assisting teammates when needed and working collaboratively to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Practicing proper food safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
What you bring to the team
- You bring at least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen.
- You have a strong sense of self-leadership and accountability for your work.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and confidence in their own skills.
- You have an open-mind and bring a willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
- Availability to work nights until 11:30pm and weekends is required.
- You have reliable transportation to and from Brentwood Bay.
