This hands on training teaches how to react & improvise during time priority, life threatening emergencies. It covers: initial assessment, disease prevention, secondary survey, airway obstruction, adult/child/infant CPR, & the use of an Automated External Defibrillator. Recognition & first-aid treatment for head & spine injuries, shock, bleeds, anaphylactic shock, heart attacks & strokes also included. By practicing with scenarios students gain confidence & learn to react & improvise in emergency situations.
