Access Awareness Day brings together experts, organizations, and communities in an event aimed to inform and inspire accessibility and inclusion for all!
The event will bring together speakers and dozens of vendors to bring awareness to the community about accessibility and how to decrease barriers to enable people to live a full life. For National Access Ability Week, Beacon Community Services, with the Town of Sidney and SPARC BC, are celebrating with Access Awareness Day at the SHOAL Centre. This one day EXPO will be Saturday, June 1st from 10 am to 2 pm at 10030 Resthaven Drive.
They are looking for two students for each shift to help with set up, take down, serving coffee and cookies and other support tasks at this event.
