What is the Summer Science Program? The Summer Science Program is a one-week cultural, health and science program for Indigenous students entering grades 9-12 in the Fall. The program promotes interest in health and science programs through firsthand experience at the University of British Columbia. It is a great opportunity to meet new people and connect with Elders and Indigenous role models. The students will stay in first year dorms at the University of British Columbia and participate in cultural and health/STEM-related workshops throughout the week. Who can apply? Must be of First Nations, Inuit, or Métis Ancestry Must be entering grades 9-12 in Fall 2024
When is it? Session 1: Students entering grades 11 & 12 - June 30th - July 6th 2024 Session 2: Students entering grades 9 & 10 - July 7th - July 13th 2024
