McTavish Academy Of Art resides in a former elementary school in North Saanich. The 18,000 sq. ft. space has been transformed into a vibrant and inclusive community art centre.

Gymnastics Instructor
Duties:
- Teach gymnastics skills and techniques to students of various ages and skill levels
- Plan and lead structured gymnastics classes, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment
- Demonstrate proper form and technique for gymnastics movements and exercises
- Provide individualized instruction and feedback to help students improve their skills
- Develop lesson plans and curriculum that align with the goals of the gymnastics program
- Monitor student progress and provide ongoing assessments and evaluations
- Ensure equipment is set up properly and maintained in a safe condition
- Promote a fun and engaging atmosphere that encourages student participation
Requirements:
- Experience working with students in a gymnastics or related setting
- Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, terminology, and safety guidelines
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background in physical education, childcare, or related field is a plus
- Experience in behavior management is preferred
