The School of Health Information Science is hosting its Spring Open House on Wednesday, October 10th 4:30-6:00 pm, at the University of Victoria’s Cornett Building room B143.
The world is becoming increasingly reliant on the use of information technology in health care delivery. The School of Health Information Science has the most comprehensive and established undergraduate program in the study of health informatics in Canada, offering two programs including a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Science and a Combined Major in Computer Science and Health Information Science. Students may enter directly from high school or transfer from college or other undergraduate programs. Individuals graduate with a BSc degree, and benefit from virtually 100% employment with starting salaries typically above $55,000 per year.
