The Dancing Orchid Gift Shoppe is a lovely boutique gift shop offering a wide range of beautiful gifts, jewelry, cards, artwork, home décor and more. We are currently seeking an outgoing, reliable and professional person to join our amazing team!
We are looking for a CASUAL employee who can start right away. If you're someone who doesn't want the demands of a regular job but still wants the enjoyment of working occasional hours in a beautiful setting with amazing customers - then this is the job for you!
The successful applicant will receive training in the first 2 weeks of April 2024.
Responsibilities and Roles of the position include:
· Delivering exceptional customer service
· Knowledge and comfort in communicating product information
· Store opening and closing procedures
· Operating a cash register and visa/debit terminal
· Reconciling daily sales
· General cleaning and maintenance of the store
· Receiving and processing store inventory and entering into POS system.
Previous experience working in a retail environment and/or customer service position is an asset.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Salary: $17.00 per hour
