News

New Document Deadline:

March 31, 2024, is the new deadline to submit all documents, including transcripts and English test scores. For new applicants, please remind them to set up their Queen's SOLUS accounts as soon as they receive their application acknowledgement and keep them on track with this deadline to submit documents. Admission offers have started going out and will continue on a rolling basis until mid-May.

New Concurrent Education/French Program:

This program is a 5-year + 1 summer term program that prepares secondary school graduates to become educators and qualify for Ontario College of Teachers certification. Our graduates are out into the job market a year earlier since most other Ontario faculties of education offer their programs over 6 years with typical fall/winter semesters.

Indigenous Admission Pathway (IAP):

We offer Indigenous candidates an additional and alternative pathway for admission to the first year of a full-time, first-entry undergraduate degree program. If you have Indigenous students who are interested in being considered for the IAP, they must submit documents to be verified as an Indigenous student. Once a student is verified for the IAP, they will automatically:

  • Be considered for an Indigenous Entrance Award, valued at $1,000.

  • Receive enhanced application support.

  • Be connected with the Four Directions Indigenous Student Centre staff.

  • Be guaranteed a spot in our Q Success program.
