We're one month closer to the early admissions deadline! Here are your October updates.

Early October 2023: Applications open on Education Planner BC

November 15, 2023: Deadline to apply for financial need-based International Scholars Awards with a deadline to apply for UBC admission by December 1, 2023

December 1, 2023:  Deadline to apply for students seeking first-round offers of admission and consideration for major entrance scholarships

January 15, 2024: Final admissions application deadline

This year, the Faculty of Land and Food Systems (LFS) is hosting the Feeding 9 Billion Case Competition, open to students in grades 10-12 and located in the Lower Mainland.

The competition will have teams of 3-5 students, and will take place from Monday, October 30th, when the case prompt is released, to Sunday, November 19th when the in-person presentations will be held. In the weeks prior to the presentation, students will be expected to work on their own time to prepare their proposals, with the virtual support of UBC mentors.

Please confirm your student team, and learn more about this event, by emailing lfs.ambassador@ubc.ca by Friday, October 20th, 2023.

Our tours and events section of the Undergraduate Programs and Admissions page is the best place to register for virtual and in-person events. From application workshops to campus tours, your students will easily be able to find the right events for them here.

To register and easily keep track of their sessions, students will need to create an account.

The online UBC Engineering Open House will provide research spotlights and presentations about admissions, Co-op and the student experience. Students will get the best experience by attending all three days, though it is not required.

The On-campus UBC Engineering Open House will provide an opportunity for students to visit either the Vancouver or Okanagan campus to interact with our Professors, advisors and student teams while also exploring our amazing campuses.

Hello BC Educators! We are Rural eMentoring BC, a free online youth-mentoring program, and we are looking for schools to join us for the 2023-2024 school year!

We connect high school students from outside the metro-Vancouver, Victoria and Kelowna areas to mentors who are college and university students from across BC.
