Summer Activities for High School Students
Campus Tours

We're excited to offer in-person campus tours again! Your students can tour our St. GeorgeMississauga, or Scarborough campuses this summer—there's even a tour of our Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science. Visit our website to find details on all of our tour programs.

Youth Summer Program in Medicine and Law

The Youth Summer Program (YSP) offers students an exclusive glimpse into the world of medicine and law. Students participate in the exploration of the respective fields, career opportunities, and what they should be thinking about and doing in high school to prepare themselves for university. Learn more about YSP.

Experience Video Game Coding and Virtual Reality

Our School of Continuing Studies is offering two exciting new online courses for high school students to explore video game coding and virtual reality. In the Gaming course, students learn game development fundamentals that will bring engaging 2D games to life, using Unity and C# scripting. In the VR course, students will get a head start on university computer science concepts and delve into the creation of immersive VR experiences, focusing on interaction, soundscapes, physics, and more. Find out more about the programs here.

School Visits for Fall 2023

We're planning our travel schedule for the fall and we'd love to connect with you! If you're interested in having us visit—either in-person or virtually—complete our school visit request form and we'll follow up with you. You can also request a school visit from the University of Toronto Mississauga campus.

We'd appreciate if you would take a few minutes to complete our brief survey so we can tailor our work to meet your needs.

A Lot to Celebrate

It's a busy time of year for our community and there are a lot of things to celebrate.

June is Pride Month and an opportunity for the University to celebrate and reflect on the history, courage, and diversity of 2SLGBTQ+ communities. We raised the Progress Pride flag across all three of our campuses to mark the beginning of Pride and then decorated our spaces to show visible support for #DisplayYourPride.

The University of Toronto joins members of the Indigenous community in June to mark National Indigenous History Month and National Indigenous Peoples Day. We recognize the rich and diverse cultures, languages, stories, and experiences of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people across Turtle Island. Hear from the Anishinaabe UTM student behind the winning Orange Shirt Day design about the meaning behind it.

We're also at the end of our Spring Convocation. We're celebrating the achievements of more than 15,500 graduates in 37 individual ceremonies from June 1st-22nd. We're so proud of all of our amazing students!
