On Saturday, June 3 (9:45 am – 1:00 pm), we will be in Peter Grant Park removing invasive plants such as English ivy as a part of Make a Difference Week!

All ages, abilities, backgrounds, and experience levels are welcome! We will provide training, tools, and gloves for volunteers. There will also be snacks!
Our activity on June 3 will be a part of Make a Difference Week, a global week of environmental stewardship hosted by the Society for Ecological Restoration. This is a great opportunity for youth to be part of a global effort to help take care of nature, in addition to making a difference in their local community. They will also meet new people and make new friends, all while spending time outside which is great for mental and physical wellbeing.
This is also a great way to gain volunteer experience and we are happy to sign off on volunteer hours or provide letters for anyone who needs them.
