Make a difference, meet new people, and have fun, by being a Volunteer Counsellor at the 50th Operation Trackshoes!
Event takes place June 9-11, 2023, and training starts May 8!
Operation Trackshoes (OT) is a weekend-long provincial sports festival for people with developmental disabilities. It includes a full-length competitive track and field meet, events for people in wheelchairs, as well as fun and recreational events appropriate for all ages and levels of ability.
Volunteer Counsellors are matched with competitors for 2-days, 3-days, or part-time as needed, to provide support, assistance, and friendship at the event.
No experience necessary, except a sincere desire to lend a hand as you can! The first orientation for volunteers is May 8, so follow the link below ASAP and always feel free to approach your Career Centre staff for help in applying.
