Busy pet boarding facility requires committed, reliable individual for part time work. MUST BE AVAILABLE to work evenings (4-8) and Sundays. Sorry, no exceptions.
Ability to cover time off requests and absences an asset.
Must be aware you will be required to work in outdoor weather conditions on a daily basis.
Qualifications: • Attendance is very important as we are a small group • Self-motivated • Excellent communication skills • Strong ability to prioritize and multitask • Reliable transportation - We are not on a bus route • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Preferred: • Pet first aid certification • Experience working in pet care field • Preference given to demonstrated experience with animals
Responsibilities: • Feeding all pets, and administering medications as required • Supervising dogs including monitoring all for behavioral concerns, general adjustment to social environment • Making quick decisions regarding the well being of all canine • Safe fecal cleanup - "poop scooping"! • Cleaning floors, crates, doing laundry, and other cleaning as required • Additional duties as required
Starting wage will depend on previous relevant work experience. 16-20 hours/week needed.
Salary: From $16.00 per hour
