On April 10, 2023, all admitted students will be able to view the final average required to maintain their conditional offer of admission on their my.ucalgary.ca portal. We've met with several guidance counsellors over the last two months to collect feedback on how we can improve this process, and are pleased to share the following with you in advance:

  • Click here to access the competitive averages for the fall 2023 intake
  • Click here to access a blog article we've provided with answers to several commonly asked questions
  • To finalize admission, students must complete all grade 12 course requirements (or equivalent), maintain the competitive admission average within 3-5% and graduate high school

We have several new faces on the Student Recruitment Team!

Canadian Team: We are pleased to share that David Adelaja, Bailey Fawcett, Madison Negre, Matthew Greenshields, and Kaylee Butler have joined our team as full-time Student Recruitment Advisors. These individuals will be covering our out-of-Calgary national efforts.

International Team: We are pleased to share that Aakash Gorana has joined our team and will be supporting all students and counsellors from India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Alexis Fraser will be moving to support the region of Africa.


Don't miss an important date or deadline! Here are some dates and deadlines we want to highlight for you:

  • Early April: High school prestige award winners will be notified. 
  • Late April: High school entrance award winners will be notified. Please note only students receiving an award will be contacted.
  • May 1: We aim to have  95% of our high school offers of admission for the fall 2023 cycle made. This is also the date for most applicants to accept their offer of admission. Students can see their deadline in their Student Centre (my.ucalgary.ca)
  • May 1: Deadline to apply for on-campus residence to receive a guaranteed placement.
  • September 26: Save the date for UCalgary's Counsellor Update
  • October 28: Save the date for UCalgary's Open House event
