UVic's GoEngGirl is a day-long event (Dec 3 - 10am-4pm) aimed at Victoria-area girls and non-binary folks in grades 6-12, for encouragement and background to enter engineering. and computer science. The day will consist of a team design challenge, a pizza lunch with engineering clubs, and a parent panel talk to answer parent (and student) questions.
This will all be held on our UVic campus and will be a great chance for the gals to experience a day of ECS fun.
The event is this upcoming weekend, which is a bit of a tight turn around!
