Foster Science Mentorship Program is a NSERC PromoScience program that introduces youth in or from care and/or with refugee experience in BC to the wonders of science.  Care includes any forms of care from the Ministry of Children and Family Development (ex. foster home, group homes, addiction facilities, etc) and Delegated Aboriginal Agencies.

This program entails pairing a university student with a high school student during the school year for mentorship and to work towards a science fair project together.  Fostering Science is available free of charge for eligible students! For more information, please refer to our website: https://pharm-sci-fosteringscience-2021.sites.olt.ubc.ca/

Registration to become a mentee is opening up for the 2022-2023 program. Mentees are accepted on a rolling basis and we have a limited number of spots available, so please apply early if you're interested!
