A message from Cathy Kozina, Volunteer Coordinator for the Shamrocks:
The Victoria Senior A Shamrocks are looking for volunteers to be apart of our team for the 2022 season! This is a great opportunity for students who require volunteer hours as part of their graduation requirements for this year or next.
We are looking for students who have following attributes;
- Reliable;
- Outgoing;
- Capable to take direction and perform duties as directed;
- Comfortable working and speaking in crowds;
- Capable, comfortable, bonded to handle money.
The Shamrocks play out of the Q Centre Arena and we have 9 home games running from Friday May 27 to July 29, with the possibility of playoffs in August. Our home games are on the following dates:
Fri, May 27 Game time: 8pm
Fri, June 3 Game time: 7pm
Fri, June 10 Game time:7pm
Sun, June 19 Game time: 5pm
Fri, June 24 Game time: 7pm
Fri, July 8 Game time: 7pm
Sun, July 17 Game time: 5pm
Fri, July 22 Game time: 7pm
Fri, July 29 Game time: 7pm
We are looking for volunteers for the following positions:
● Fan Ambassadors - helping out fans find where they should park, where they're going, and how to get there!
● Fan Experience Agents - selling tickets, guest services, merchandise booth, 50/50 tickets, frisbees, and other concourse activations
● Promotions Team - working on the floor between periods to execute promotions like the Frisbee toss, t-shirt toss, and more
● Fan Engagement Team - working with the mascot, getting the crowd fired up, assisting with promotions and activations
● Community Events - get out in the community with Rocky to meet fans at various local events.

The deadline is approaching on Friday May 20, however, I am happy to receive applications after that date to review if we still require volunteers.
