We are looking for enthusiastic camp leaders to run Spring Break camps taking place at Gordon Head Middle School.
Camps run Mon-Fri and will take place during Spring Break 2022 (the last two weeks of March). Great for those looking to have fun, gain experience working with kids and more!
Our Spring Break programs are based on: 2D Game Design/Minecraft Modding (Week 1) and Lego Robotics and Science (Week 2)!
No experience is required (though it doesn't hurt if you have some!). Training will be provided to candidates who are chosen.
Qualifications:
-Experience working with kids is greatly preferred but we welcome those who are also looking to get experience in this field.
-Experience with our STEM programs is not necessary but would be an asset if you have any. Otherwise training will be provided prior to your program start date.
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-First Aid/CPR certification not required but would be an asset
-Responsible, dedicated and trustworthy. We are looking for applicants who are excited to be part of the team and love working with kids.
-You will need to have a reliable mode of transportation
-You will need to be fully vaccinated (both shots).
-A recent Criminal record check (within last 6 months) will need to be provided as well -this can be obtained after you are hired.
Hours/Availability: We would prefer camp leaders who are available to run both weeks of Spring Break however we will consider all applicants as this may not be ideal for everyone.
Hourly Salary: $15.20 - $20.50 (depending on experience)
